“The del Retiro is a boutique hotel in downtown Madrid, where my partner and i stayed for a weekend city break. The hotel is located right by the Retiro Park, which means rooms are quiet and have a gorgeous view on the park. We were given an upgrade to a lovely suite over looking the park from it's super cute Juliet balconies.
We ate breakfast in the hotel on the first day as we hadn't yet oriented ourselves to all the fantastic gastronomy options in Madrid. Service was warm and friendly and the breakfast buffet included hot and cold options.
What we were really blown away by was the room service team, who magicked up all sorts of wonderful drinks for us during our stay.
All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would be definitely be back.”
