Do not stay at this hotel! We had such high expectations as it was very centrally located and looked beautiful. We made reservations directly through the hotel and selected the "Pay at the hotel" option due to covid concerns. Unfortunately, our flights were cancelled and we never made it to Madrid. However, the hotel still charged me and refused to even give me a partial refund. After much back and fourth they asked for supporting documents to look into my case. Then after giving them boarding passes, confirmation numbers, etc. they still stated that I didn't have a valid excuse to cancel my reservation and refused to give me my money back despite never having stayed at this hotel for something completely out of our control. This hotel may be beautiful but lacks empathy, respect, and genuine customer service for it's guests. Please do not give them your business and book your stay elsewhere.

Highly recommend if you want to stay in city center with quick access to the metro. This hotel is close to a ton of shopping, dining, and attractions like Plaza Mayor (10 min walk). We walked almost everywhere except for a few places that were only a 15 min metro ride. The room was very high quality with an amazing shower and has everything you need. One callout: There is a pretty popular rooftop bar/restaurant that sometimes has a line outside the hotel, but there is a dedicated elevator for guests so we never ran into any issues. We also didn’t have any issues with noise.

Gracias a todo el equipo de NHC Gran Vía por brindaron una Experiencia Memorable. En especial Eduardo e Iva de Front e Isabel y Yoandi quienes nos brindaron un excelente servicio en el Desayuno. Tuvieron un detalle hermoso para mi pareja que cumplia años y nos sorprendieron. Sin dudas volvería mil veces.

Hemos esperado 2h para subir a la terraza, después de subir habían un montón de mesas libres. El personal bastante antipático, la terraza está muy bien pero por la espera y el personal hacen una experiencia espantosa.

Un gran hotel en el centro de Madrid, se encuentra en gran vía, habitaciones modernas y amplias, limpias, los desayunos una pasada, se puede tomar unas copas de noche con unas vistas de todo madrid, todo el personal muy amable, la única cosa y es por decir algo, un ascensor y que hay que esperar mucho para subir o bajar. Pero repetiremos a este hotel cuando volvamos a Madrid ☺️

La ubicación excelente, las instalaciones muy limpias cuidadas y con gusto. El personal muy profesional, atento, amable, sin duda lo mejor del hotel, hicieron nuestra estancia muy agradable. El desayuno y la cena en el Picalagartos más que recomendable. Para repetir!!! Hotel de referencia para nuestras escapadas a Madrid. Recomiendo las habitaciones con vistas a la gran Vía sin duda un espectáculo. Gracias nuestros 4 días en familia estuvieron genial!!!

Pessoal simpático, hotel co Óptimas condições. Os colaboradores falam inglês para além do espanhol. E o hotel tem um rooftop bar com vista para a emblemática Gran via.Servem desde cafés, chás, vinho e óptimos gins tónicos. Também para quem não é fã de álcool dispõem de sumos e uns aperitivos de frutos secos e gomas para os mais novos.É um spot muito bom para ver o pôr do sol.

We went to the rooftop bar for a drink but most hosts (as well the host downstairs as on the roof) were very unfriendly. We could'nt sit next to the view or a fireplace while a lot of tables were free. Also we had to wait so long to order that we went to the bar ourselves to order. We saw more people complain about this as well who were waiting for 30 minutes already. The cocktails did'nt taste like they suppose to. So although the view is nice I would never go there again because of the bad service.

Bom hotel no centro de Madrid. Era fácil andar pela cidade. Os funcionários foram super simpáticos e prestativos. Definitivamente recomendo incluindo café da manhã. Estava uma delícia. Os quartos são elegantes e modernos e têm tudo o que você precisa. Se você reservar camas de solteiro, elas serão um pouco menores do que as que vivemos na Europa; no entanto, eles dormiram muito bem. Além disso, esperávamos que fosse alto, considerando a localização, mas os quartos eram muito bem insonorizados.

Nice hotel in the center of Madrid. It was easy to walk around the city. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend including breakfast. It was delicious. The rooms are sleek and modern and have everything you need. If you book twin beds, they are a little smaller then what we have experienced in Europe; however they slept great. Also, we expected it to be loud, considering the location, but the rooms were very well soundproofed.

Clean, great views, and central location. Can be quite busy just outside the hotel and lots of noise (if you’re a light sleeper) from crosswalk sounds but it’s expected based on the location. Hotel staff is amazing!

Subimos a la terraza a tomar una copa. 12€ cada gin-tonic.Lo peor, el frío. No estaban puestas las estufas, la gente con el abrigo puesto hasta arriba, con mantitas por encima...Una buena vista, solo desde algún punto en concreto y de pie.Los camareros muy atentos.

La ubicación inmejorable, además con parada de metro en la puerta.El personal del hotel amable, colaborador y sumamente eficaz.La habitación, 506 espectacular. Buenas vistas y muy acogedora.El desayuno en la planta 8 maravilloso.Puedo decir sin duda que probablemente sea el mejor NH Collection en el que he estado.Un saludo.

Uno de los mejores hoteles en pleno centro de Madrid y con boca de metro a muy pocos pasos. La Junior Suite #406 en esquina con vista a la Gran Vía tiene vistas espectaculares. Nos ha encantado el hotel y sobre todo el personal. El desayuno es fantástico y muy recomendable.

The hotel is well located and stylishly furnished to a high standard. The reception was also friendly and efficient. However, the windows are very poorly insulated, so you can hardly sleep, especially on weekends when people are partying on Gran Via. In addition, there is the traffic, the honking cars and the audible traffic light signals, which rob you of sleep. In this respect, this hotel cannot compete with others in the NH Collection chain.

We have been staying in this hotel for the past couple of years and it's now our favorite whenever we visit Madrid. Not only it's perfectly situated, but the service and staff are amazing. They were immensely professional, helpful, attentive and supportive prior and during our stay. An excellent hotel experience to match an excellent visit in excellent Madrid.

Amazing ♥️♥️ primera vez que llevó a mi esposo a madrid. Ha quedado encantado con ganas de volver. El servicio del hotel ha sido muy bueno pero ciertas cosas yo mejoraría hice la reservación por una vista a la gran vía con cama grande y nos dieron dos pequeñitas, y luego el chico me dice que si la tiene pero con cargo adicional de 30 € más 😕 encuentro que pueden cuidar de esos detalles. Del resto siempre todos muy sonrientes y amables en el servicio de la habitación. Sin duda volveré pronto a mi cuidad. 🇪🇸

Rooms are great. We called to switch rooms to have a bigger bed and they were so kind to accommodate us. As guests of the hotel you have priority to go the the rooftop bar and it’s a hot spot. Really great place for drinks and best view of Madrid.

Why did I gave a bad rating ? So yes it’s a great hotel but sorry the prices and service are really bad. I ask a room without breakfast and they put the breakfast and refuse to remove it, then the price of the room was not the same each day and each person of the group had different prices..

We loved the service and overall settings. Three factors didn't make it 5*: Pricey compared to most other in area. We paid for 3 person room, but ended up got 2-person room with one extra bed put in last minute; there is barely room to walk. Some construction is still going on in the area.

“Great location, clean and value” Me & my wife have stayed in this hotel for 4 days while visiting Madrid. This hotel has a great location in the most and active street in Madrid (Gran Via) and close by all tourist attractive places, metro and tourist bus stop. breakfast was average, staff were fine as well. In general we enjoyed our stay there. Room Tip: Rooms in street side. while it has a balcony, you'll enjoy to set there early in the morning

stayed in this hotel for 5 days during December. The location was perfect, in that it was in close proximity to bars, clubs, restaurants. It is also situated close to a metro stop. I found the staff friendly and helpful. I would consider it a small hotel, but was perfect for a short city break. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.
